The spacious family room is converted conservatory. The window treatments are simple stationary drapery panels. They flank the arched windows, showing off the room’s beautiful architecture but do not take away from the outside view. With seven arch windows soaring 11 feet upward it is a dramatic gallery space, where plum wall color and chocolate and soft latte colors of the upholstery are defined by the sage and bronze wallpaper of the ceiling. Splashes of pure white color of the millwork and accessories create visual focus. Because of the dark wall colors the effect is dramatic but friendly and cozy.
